Meet Lake Stevens Proud Boy Guy William Betten Jr.
Bill is #6 in the now infamous Razzals group picture with chapter organizer Justin Lux (#10) that has been the subject of such controversy.
On his public Facebook Bill shares his obvious distaste for antifascists and his familiarity with the politics of white supremacist prison gangs. Bill claims that whites are the majority in the prison system however according to the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics in 2013 black males accounted for 37% of the total male prison population, white males 32%, and Hispanic males 22%. Math has never been a strong suit for Proud Boys.
Bill also runs the ultra-conservative website johnpatric.org where he makes wild accusations that random Snohomish county residents are “ANTIFA” and meddles in local politics. Bill also operates the Twitter account @JohnPat52535133 where he parrots information posted to his website.

The property the business is registered at is an unimproved property with one shed and a few campers. We wonder if the neighbors are aware of the hate group member operating a business in their area.
Bill shares a name with his father so some records are hard to discern the two however one of them is involved with local politics and at over 90 years old its likely not Bill Sr. One of them ran for Commission Position 3 of the Snohomish county Fire District 04 in 2017. They registered with the same phone number and address for Betten Motor Freight.
In 2016 they filed a motion in Snohomish County superior court to change the city of Snohomish city government from the Council/Manager model of local governance to Mayor/Council model. This motion was denied.
Bill moved to Ruggsville Texas in December 2019 but still has ties to the Snohomish county community and continues to harass Lake Stevens residents. His new address is publicly available on his website and listed below.
